The Peter Behrens Building
This building, originally purpose built as a central storehouse for the Gütehoffnungshütte ( local foundry), represents one of the most significant, architectural industrial complexes of the 1920s. As a historical, industrial monument it is not outclassed in Europe. Currently the building serves as a central depot, availing of several thousand square metres, for the Industrial Museum of the Rhineland (LVR-Industriemuseum).
