The Turbinenhalle
This is the place for party-goers. The Turbinenhalle has been in existence since 1993 and is a magnet for the "dance-crazy " from all over the region. Every weekend over 10,000 people celebrate in this "Dance-Temple" to different music styles: Rock, House, Charts, Indy, Black Music and Retro. Furthermore , this former Thyssen power station, erected in 1907, offers ideal conditions for rock and pop concerts, Hip Hop events, techno raves, music theatre or mega parties. A place of such dimensions demands a catering service which is just as big: nine different bar areas, three cafes, a beer garden and a snack bar in the entrance area .
