D) The Gasometer: A look into the "Giant"
Around the Neue Mitte Complex in Oberhausen
Venture a look into the gasometer and marvel at the gigantic space you experience here. From the roof of the 117 metre high gasometer you have a fantastic panoramic view over the western part of the Ruhr. In the Gasometer, you will be greeted by a light and sound installation as well as the exhibition "Magic Places: Natural and Cultural Monuments" (from 8th of April 2011 to 21st of Octobre 2012).
