City tour in a vintage bus
Back to the 80s!
From the May 3st to October 25st The Tourist Information Oberhausen offers every Saturday at 14 p.m again City tours through Oberhausen The highlight: The trips take place with a original bus of the local public utility company (STOAG) from the eighties, known from the Ruhr area film “Manta, Manta – Part 1”!
During the 120-minute tour, passengers are accompanied by a guide who tells many stories and anecdotes about the city's sights. The bus departs from Luise-Albertz-Platz am Westfield Centro (opposite the Coca-Cola Oasis at Centro-Parkhaus 3) via the St. Antony-Hütte (photo stop), Sterkrade, Schloss Oberhausen and Alt-Oberhausen back to the starting point at Westfield Centro. It is not possible to board in between.
The city tour ticket costs for adults 18 Euros (for children from 4 to 14 years 10 Euro) and is available for pre-sale either in the Tourist Information at the Central Station or in the Tourist Info in Westfield Centro (at the Coca-Cola Oasis). A previous Seat reservation for the desired date is highly recommended. Some dates are already fully booked. Special tours for groups and clubs are also available upon request.
