Turbinenhalle

The Turbinenhalle Oberhausen is a top location for medium-sized events and thus enriches the event and leisure scene in the Ruhr area. Originally built in 1909 for the Gutehoffnungshütte (GHH), Turbinenhalle the task of supplying a former ironworks with electricity and compressed air. With the decline of the coal and steel industry in the 80s, the pounding rhythms of the machines gradually faded away. Nowadays, completely different beats set the pace here.
