Urban.Trail – Adventure trail through Oberhausen
The Urban.Trail Oberhausen is your ticket to a blend of industrial heritage, water features, and urban greenery – right in the heart of the Ruhr region, right in the heart of the flow. Starting point: Oberhausen Central Station. From here, you'll immerse yourself in the city, a mix of blast furnace charm and the aroma of coffee. The trail leads through Grillopark, past the town hall, where history meets the present. A stop at ZAZA's Espressobar or Oli's kiosk is sure to be a highlight. Beyond Brücktorpark, the city begins to breathe – through allotments, nature trails, and the gentle slopes of the Knappehalde. Halde HanielThen the route follows old tracks – a section of the HOAG railway line, now wildly overgrown with greenery and full of contrasts.
